Artist Residency Balmoral

The Artist Residency Schloss Balmoral supports visual artists from all over the world and of all ages through annual scholarships. Since 2013, these have been linked to an artistic genre or theme. The sponsored artists (including an “artist at risk”) live and work at Schloss Balmoral in Bad Ems. In addition, the Artist Residency Schloss Balmoral awards two scholarships for curators and one for an educator-in-residence each year. Furthermore, the so-called Neustart Scholarship is awarded annually to graduates of the Kunsthochschule Mainz .
