Workshop for painting and material technology
Introductory information
The painting and materials technology workshop aims to familiarise students with the theoretical and practical fundamentals of painting and materials technology. The relationship between the support, binder and pigment are just as much a part of the course content as the correct handling of the necessary chemicals.
In addition, we answer questions on conservation aspects such as material compatibility, ageing, various hanging systems, transport and storage.

- Safety instruction is required to work in the painting and materials technology workshop. This takes place at the beginning of the semester as part of the workshop courses.
