Art –Transfer – Public Department

Art – Transfer – Public views mediation as a collective practice and an interface between the Kunsthochschule and the public. The department engages with curatorial initiatives, new strategies for public outreach, press relations, visual communication, and social media. It also manages the Kunsthochschule’s communication channels. Additionally, Art – Transfer – Public organises events and exhibitions and fosters broader collaborations, bringing together a wide range of institutions from the university and international art worlds.
The department continuously reflects on and develops its own practice. The goal is to create a form of mediation that is open and accessible to the diverse communities within the Kunsthochschule, as well as the wider public.
The team supports the development of autonomous and collective working methods and exhibition practices.

Social Media

The Social Media team manages the Kunsthochschule Mainz’s internal and external communications. On Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram, you will find information on current research projects and exhibitions, as well as insights into life at the Kunsthochschule.

Send us your invitation cards, project information, and photos from your exhibitions – as well as everyday moments from class, plenary sessions, or shared lunches. If you are involved in an exhibition outside the Kunsthochschule, we are happy to share that too. The same applies to Kunsthochschule alumni. We also encourage you to be active on the platforms themselves – tag us, set links (#kunsthochschulemainz / @kunsthochschulemainz), like, share, and comment on our posts.
