Media lab

Introductory information

In the media lab, students master the techniques and technologies that underpin artistic media work. The media lab portfolio is centred on two key elements: the regular course programme and the opportunity for personal technical-media coaching. The workshop leaders are available by appointment to explain issues such as digital image processing, non-linear video editing, visual programming, physical computing and VR. The lab also provides answers to any questions you may have about the Adobe product range or the professional layout of art catalogues.

Students are free to work independently in the media lab during opening hours. Computer workstations are available for editing digital photographs and video, as well as various printers for large-format digital photographs. The media lab also has equipment on loan for all students at the University of Arts, including video cameras, cameras, projectors, screens and loudspeakers.
