Heike Aumüller

She has led the foundation class at the Mainz Academy of Fine Arts as an adjunct professor since 2025. She has been an artistic collaborator in the foundation class at the academy since 2009. From 2006 to 2007, she was a research fellow and artistic collaborator in the New Media Department at the Academy. She studied at the State Academy of Fine Arts in Karlsruhe from 1991 to 1997. She then pursued postgraduate studies at the Karlsruhe University of Arts and Design from 1997 to 2000. Since 2002, she has been a member of the Kammerflimmer Kollektief, focusing on composition and improvisation in electronic and acoustic contexts, live performance, and artwork.
