Sculpture, Klasse Lupo

introductive information

The sculpture class is open to students from both degree programmes. Based on an open and material-oriented conception of sculpture, experimentation and work with all media is encouraged and possible. The focus is on students’ independent artistic work, supported through group discussions and individual consultations.

Alongside individual guidance, the curriculum includes group readings of artists’ texts, engagement with current artistic practices, guest speakers from the art world, field trips and organising regional and national exhibitions. Another key focus of the curriculum is developing the ability to articulate one’s own work verbally and document it appropriately.
