• Admission to the degree programme is decided by Eignungsprüfung. egistration for the aptitude test by E-Mail to bewerbung@kunsthochschule-mainz.de.

• After passing the aptitude test, you must apply for a place at Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz (JGU Mainz); the deadline for the summer semester is 15 January, for the winter semester 15 July.

PORTFOLIO TESTS/EXAMINATION INTERVIEWS

• Aptitude Test
The examination venue is the Kunsthochschule Mainz at the Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz. The second examination section takes place after a written invitation, with a time interval of approximately two weeks after the first examination section. In an interview with the examination board lasting approximately 15 minutes, the applicant should comment on the work submitted in the application and explain their interests in the field of fine arts.
